We made turtles with triangles.

We covered our letter t with tiny teddies.

Alphie lost two letters this week.  We found the letter p.

We made parrots.  They were colourful and pretty parrots.

We made yummy pizza!

We are learning how to use the ipads.  We used the app Paint sparkles to make pretty pictures.

Miss R opened a magic potion shop in the playground. We used gum nuts to buy the potions and then mixed them together to make new potions.

We met some new friends. They are our PATHS friends and they are going to help us learn how to be good friends.

Term 1 Week 7

This week we learnt about the letter a.

We covered the letter a with fingerprint ants.

We made apple cake. It was yummy!

On Monday we went on an excursion to the Post Office.

We had recess at Pirate Park.

We got to go out the back of the Post Office.

Mandy showed us how the mail gets delivered.

We each got a Post Office showbag with lots of cool stuff inside.

Then we had to walk all the way back to school. We were very tired!

In our classroom we have built our own Post Office and our own mailboxes so we can write letters to each other.

We have been learning how to mix colours.

We can use the ipads to scan the QR codes on our character pictures then we can watch our character stories.

We played a game called find my number. It helps us to practice learning before and after numbers.

We have been learning about questions and statements.  A question is when we ask someone something to find out more information.

Term 1 Week 6

This week Alphie lost his letter m. We found it in the playground.

We thought of lots of words that start with m.

We covered our m with money.

Our Italian teacher Mr A left us masks to decorate. In Italy they have a big celebration called Carnivale and they all wear masks.

We are learning how to take photos on the ipads.

We made monsters with rhyming names.
