Term 2 Week 5

We found the letter o.

We squeezed oranges to make orange juice.

We covered our o with orange things like popsticks, glitter and patty pans.

We found the letter j.

We made jiggly jellyfish to go into our alphabet book.

The Blue Birds made us some delicious jam biscuits.

We played with cold, slimy, gooey, red, slippery jelly.

Zero the Hero brought us some popsticks and some lacky bands to help us count.  We used the lacky bands to make bundles of ten.

We have been learning about Baptism.  When you get baptised you become part of God's family.

Western Power came out to teach us how to be safe with electricity.

  4. Hello Miss R, I had stumbled upon your blog very recently and I found your posts pretty interesting to read. This one in particular is an amazing example of how learning can be made fun. I also would like to share with you what I am working on. A few of my friends and I are building an app for teachers like you who care so deeply about their students. While building this app, we need your help to make sure that we focus on the things that are most important to teachers like you. Do share your feedback with me. We know that teachers like you are really busy so we have made sure that the survey takes only two minutes to complete: http://tinyurl.com/kudosurvey
I hope you do participate in the survey because I know you do care.
